DESCRIPTION:Grades: 1-5\nAfter-school instructional chess club at St. Luke Catholic School in Shoreline.\nKnowledge of basic chess moves and rules is recommended.\nTo get started in chess\, the ChessKid videos here and here are very helpful! \nEach class will begin with a chess lesson\, with the instructor introducing a chess subject to the students. Subjects include opening strategy\, chess tactics\, checkmating patterns\, and more. After that\, chess puzzles will be offered\, and students will finish the class with playing time.
