Please read and follow school guidance at Meridian Summer Quest 2025 for their campus requirements and health directives. \nKnowledge of chess moves and rules is required.\nTo get started in chess\, the ChessKid videos here and here can be helpful!\nOpen to students in grades K-8\, from Beginners to Advanced. \nEach camp includes a tournament with chess clocks\, recording and game review. Other chess activities include solving chess puzzles\, opening moves and strategy lessons\, endgame practice and review\, chess videos\, casual student games\, blitz tournament\, and of course the bughouse! \nWe also have occasional contests\, like chess jeopardy (with teams and questions about various chess or near-chess subjects).
