DESCRIPTION:Join our three-day chess camp over Christmas Week during your Winter Break! \nThe camp is held Monday\, Thursday and Friday\, December 23\, 26\, 27\, 2024!\nNo camp on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. \nWe teach openings\, strategy\, middle game and endgame lessons. The camp features tournament games immediately analyzed by a chess master. Students are arranged into groups by skill level. \nOther activities include solving fun chess puzzles\, learning cool openings\, solving tricky tactics\, mastering fundamental endgames\, and playing casual games between students! We may separate into a second group with its own coach if the skill levels and ages require it and there are enough students. \nAll camps are attended or conducted by International Master Georgi Orlov\, 1994 US Open Champion\, USCF Rated 2540\, with a 4-Year Chess Education degree. Also featuring NM Joshua Sinanan! \nOpen to all students in grades K-8\, from Beginners to Advanced. We love beginners. However\, knowing how the pieces move is required.
