Mid-Winter Break 2 – Redmond

Come join us for four glorious days of Mid-Winter Break! Bellevue School District has the whole week off around President’s Day; we hold this camp on Tuesday through Friday. Here’s another awesome chance to get ahead of your chess friends in the 2023 chess season.

Lessons in the morning and afternoon, tournament games with the game review, chess puzzles, chess movies! Students are divided into groups by skill level.

Open to all students in grades K-8, from Beginners to Advanced.
We love beginners, however knowing how the pieces move is required. To learn the moves, the ChessKid videos how to play chess and an introduction to chess are very helpful!

This camp is a four-day series, Tuesday through Friday.
Choose your days in any combination: February 20 – 24
Please specify your dates in comments section when registering online.
Or choose half days, AM or PM sessions, minimum two.

Daily Schedule

Note: This camp has slightly different hours than most of our other camps.
Arrival and check-in begins at 8:30 am
Lessons start promptly at 9:00 am
There are scheduled breaks throughout the day.
Lunch 11:15 to 12:15 pm.
Please bring your lunch and snacks! No peanut-based food, please!
In the afternoon students play games with game analysis provided.
Pickup by 3:00 pm.
After-camp care is available upon advanced request, $16/hour additional charge.

Half Days Available

We also offer half day attendance!
$45 each for half-day, minimum two half-days.
