Grades: 1-5
After-school instructional chess club at St. Benedict Catholic School.
Knowledge of chess moves and rules is required.
To get started in chess, the ChessKid videos here and here are very helpful!

Each class will begin with a chess lesson, with the instructor introducing a chess subject to the students. Subjects include opening strategy, chess tactics, checkmating patterns, and more. After that, chess puzzles will be offered, and students will finish the class with playing time. They may play with their friends or the coach will assign games per skill level.

Cost: $175.50 for 8 classes. Register your child in advance!

Refunds through 2nd class, cancellation fee $37, no refunds after.
Minimum of 8 students to hold class, max 16 students.
