Grades: 1-5
When: 5:30 – 6:30 pm Thursdays
Where: Gym

Each class will begin with a chess lesson, with the instructor introducing a chess subject to the students. Subjects include opening strategy, chess tactics, checkmating patterns, and more. After that, chess puzzles will be offered, and students will finish the class with playing time. They may play with their friends, or the coach will assign games per skill level.

October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
November 7, 14, 21 (no class 11/28)

Cost: $175.50
Register your child in advance by the end  Thursday Sept 19th!
Refunds through 2nd class; less $37, no refunds after.
Minimum 8 students to hold class, maximum 18 students.

Join the Shelton View Chess Club with Orlov Chess Academy!
Each class includes lesson presentation, chess puzzle-solving time and game-playing time. All materials are provided, just come ready to learn!
Knowledge of chess moves and basic rules is required.
