Prepare for State Championships and National Competitions!

Play Chess and Train with Chess Masters in Redmond

Sundays from May 10 through August 9, 2026 for players rated 600 and up.

All games are dual-rated NWSRS and US Chess (US Chess membership is required).
IM Georgi Orlov and NM Josh Sinanan review games to help you improve.

Our time controls prepare you for the pace of larger competitions:

  • Time control is Game in 25 minutes with a 5-second delay, which closely mimics State.
  • This gives you a chance to play more rated games with less waiting.
  • Students play two games against different opponents matched by rating level.

Nationals Training is an ten-day series on Sundays, 3 – 7 pm.

Register early, space is limited to 12.
Requires NWSRS Rating of 600 or higher to enroll. No unrated players, please.
